Building Progress

The pre-cast walls are going up fast now and the windows are starting to go in. Work has also started on the roofing, insulation, storm sewers and even some interior plumbing. All of the pre-cast walls, with the exception of the entrances, should be up by the end of February.

With some of the pre-cast walls attached, they were able to work on adding the steel structure of the cafeteria.

Work has begun on the pre-cast walls.  The pictures below show the south side of the building.

Steel work, roofing and sanitary sewer lines continue to be worked on. Installing the pre-cast walls, which will enclose the entire building, is scheduled to begin the first full week in January.

Despite the weather we continue to make progress on the new building site. The entire concrete floor has been poured on second floor and half the roof has been installed. Over the next two weeks we will continue to install the second half of the roof and keep moving forward with the sanitary sewer lines and other utilities.

The first picture shows the progress on pouring the concrete for the second floor.  They have one more section left to pour on the second floor.  In the second picture, they are starting to install the plumbing.
