Sammons Financial Group Continues Strong Charitable Giving, Volunteerism in 2025

Nearly $4.6 million donated and over 11,000 volunteer hours support local communities

West Des Moines, Iowa – February 13, 2026 – Throughout 2025, Sammons® Financial Group, Inc. continued its commitment to supporting local communities, donating nearly $4.6 million to charitable organizations across its corporate locations. In addition, employees contributed more than 11,000 volunteer hours, reflecting the company’s ongoing dedication to service and community impact.

Sammons Financial Group supports a wide range of charitable organizations aligned with the causes employees care most about, including education, healthcare, hunger relief, homelessness, diversity and inclusion, and services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Employee participation is further amplified through the company’s matching gift program, which accounted for a significant portion of total donations in 2025.

Sammons Financial Group has corporate locations in multiple cities, each contributing to the company’s overall charitable impact.

2025 community highlights include:

West Des Moines, Iowa:
More than $1.2 million was donated to Central Iowa organizations, including partners such as United Way, the Principal Charity Classic, Special Olympics Iowa, Meals from the Heartland, Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa, and other Community Outreach Program recipients. Employees volunteered more than 6,500 hours throughout the year.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota:
Sioux Falls-area organizations received more than $1.1 million in charitable support, with employees contributing nearly 4,000 volunteer hours. Supported organizations included United Way, Active Generations, Boys and Girls Club of the Sioux Empire, Great Plains Zoo, Junior Achievement, and other Community Impact Challenge partners.

Chicago, Illinois:
Chicago-based charities received $350,000 in 2025, benefiting organizations such as Deborah’s Place, Marillac St. Vincent, The Boulevard of Chicago, St. Anthony Hospital, RefugeeOne, and additional nonprofits supported through employee-driven initiatives.

Fargo, North Dakota:
In Fargo, $350,000 was donated to local nonprofits including YWCA Cass Clay, Fraser, Ltd., Legacy Children’s Foundation, Great Plains Food Bank, United Way of Cass-Clay, and other community partners. Employees contributed more than 650 volunteer hours.

Additional support was provided through Sammons Financial Group offices and employees in Minnesota and Ohio, further extending the company’s community impact in 2025.
