Bill Lowe

Bill Lowe is president of Sammons Institutional Group, a division of Sammons Financial Group.

Bill oversees a group that specializes in developing and distributing individual retirement products through broker/dealers. He has worked to achieve aggressive growth goals by creating innovative individual retirement accounts and products, while leading a visionary sales team that helps distribution partners grow their businesses.

Before joining Sammons Financial Group, Bill served as President of ING’s Individual Retirement Third Party Distribution division. He has more than 30 years of financial services experience, serving in a variety of leadership and executive roles in product distribution and business line management. Bill has a long history of success in the distribution of 401(k) plans, variable annuities, fixed annuities, life insurance, mutual fund products, and managed accounts.

In addition to his position, Bill serves on the boards of Insured Retirement Institute in Washington, D.C., Freedom for Youth, and the Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines, Iowa.  He is a General Securities Principal, Investment Advisory representative, Charted Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Fellow of the Life Management Institute. Bill received his bachelor’s from Doane University in Nebraska and has completed the General Management Program at the European Centre for Executive Development at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
