Sammons Financial Group has named Aaron Witt to a new position as vice president and Chief Digital and Data Officer. The appointment will focus on bringing business, technology, and operations closely together to transform agent and customer experiences.
Sammons Financial Group and the Principal Charity Classic have selected By Degrees Foundation as the 2023 recipient of donations raised through the Legacy Project. In 2021, the Principal Charity Classic and Sammons Financial Group partnered to launch the Legacy Project, which supports non-profit organizations focused on systemic changes designed to address racial disparities and inequities in our community.

Trent Freier has been named as a vice president of Sammons Corporate Markets Group. In this new role, Freier will assume many of the day-to-day responsibilities necessary to build the pension risk transfer business within the Corporate Markets business unit and grow its existing sales relationships.
